South Memphis rapper who briefly affiliated with Three 6 Mafia and Prophet Entertainment before departing around 1995 in a dispute over money. His rapid, clipped flow was one of the more technically distinctive voices in the Memphis underground, setting him apart from the horror-sample aesthetic of Three 6. His 1996 release "Just Gettin' It On" documented his post-split output. His father was William Young of The Ovations, the Memphis soul group — an unusual lineage within the Memphis rap world.
